Processing Information

State College resident Lucie Heymann originally inventoried and transcribed the Isabelle Montérou collection in 1975. Photocopies of the transcriptions are included in the collection. Unknown Special Collections staff processed the remainder of the collection. As the original collection description had been lost, Lexy deGraffenreid reprocessed the collection in Fall 2020 using the hybrid arrangement and description workflow due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With the approval of the Head of Collections Services, she removed published books with individual receiving flyers from the collection to be cataloged individually. She retained the original processing order, folder titles, and curatorial information within the collection to document all archival intervention of the materials and because this information was already available to patrons. She inventoried the collection at the folder-level and added all minimum required notes.
