Scope and Contents

The Pennsylvania Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance Inc., now known as the Society of Health & Physical Educators (SHAPE PA) is a membership group that provides leadership, advocacy, and professional development for health and physical educators. The group was founded in 1903 and has undergone different organizational changes in its time. This collection contains correspondence, reports, brochures, convention records, Executive Committee meetings, Representative Assemblies, President and Vice-President's files, and Association directories.
