The collection consists of over 1000 programs, 600 photographs sheet music and memorabilia related to American and European theatre, opera, and dance. Items date from 1750 to 1980 and were collected by Eugene C. Cutler.

Scope and Contents
The collection consists of over 1000 programs and 6000 photographs, many autographed, of theater, opera, dance, and other performances and performers, originally collected by Eugene C. Cutler. Other materials include illustrated sheet music, cigarette cards, and tableware decorated with actors' portraits. Primarily British and American, but also including European dance and opera. The materials date from 1750 to 1980, with the majority from the 1880's through the 1970's. Although thousands of famous performers are represented, particularly prominent are Ted Shawn, Ruth St. Denis, and Lillian Moore.
