Summary

Abstract

The Bicentennial Wagon Train to Pennsylvania Show was developed by Penn State faculty members Bruce Trinkley (Music) and Roger Cornish (Theatre) collaborating with Don Tucker, a Broadway composer/lyricist, to entertain participants on the cross-country journey from The West to Valley Forge, PA, to commemorate the bicentennial of the American Revolution.

Scope and Contents

The collection contains the records of operations (manuals, calendars, journals, correspondence, route notebooks), finances (budgets, contracts), publicity (press releases, clippings), music, and audiovisual material (videotape, audio cassettes) that document the college show performed almost daily at Wagon Train encampment sites.
